Fort Collins DUI checkpoint Nails 22 Individuals
Here we go again. Another probably barely legal DUI checkpoint in Fort Collins. The DUI checkpoint was part of a spring enforcement campaign conducted by the Colorado Department of Transportation’s drive sober or get pulled over campaign.
The Fort Collins Police Department perform the checkpoint in conjunction with the DUI task force that included participation from all area local law enforcement.
In total some 1572 vehicles were stopped on Friday resulting in 22 people arrested for impaired driving or minor possession of controlled substance during a sobriety checkpoint.
Those arrested were charged with either driving under the influence or driving while impaired according to a press release from Fort Collins police services. One person was arrested for minor in consumption while another was arrested for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia by a person younger than 21
